About Me

My story begins with being born…

…that’s how most people begin their stories at least. I was raised initially in a Southern Baptist church, but my family eventually transferred to a conservative, local Independent, Fundamental Baptist Church where I would grow up until leaving for Bible college many years later.

Growing up in church exposed me to the Gospel at an early age, and I accepted Christ as my saviour at the age of 6. Like many, I did go through a phase of doubts and fears during my early teen years, God brought me through by his great love and patience.

After graduating high school, I knew that I’d need more training and knowledge to best accomplish God’s purposes for my life. So, a few months later, I headed off to a nearby bible college. It was there that I cultivated a love for learning, writing, and researching; loves that eventually found themselves manifesting into this blog.

I grew physically and spiritually there, maturing from an overgrown boy into a young man, eager and ready to live life and see God move. A couple internship opportunities occupied my summers, giving me much needed experience and much beloved friends.

Graduation came quickly, but love came even quicker. I began dating my wife-to-be in my Junior year, and less than a year after walking the platform for my diploma, I saw my beautiful bride walk down the aisle to join our lives together.

I currently serve bi-vocationally at a small church in North Texas.

I hope God is able to use this blog to help you think, learn, and grow in the knowledge of him, his grace, and his world. May he receive all glory and praise for ever and ever. Amen.
